An Introduction

2007 November 20
by the chaplain

I’ve created this blog as a place in which I can discuss a variety of topics, but primarily those related to my de-conversion from Christianity and my evolving humanist world view. Some items will be humorous (I hope), others will be more reflective.

I will generally post two times per week. My mid-week posts (in lieu of mid-week prayer meetings) will usually appear on Wednesdays. My weekend posts (in lieu of church) will appear on Saturdays or Sundays. Since some denominations do not agree on which day should properly be regarded as the Sabbath, and since other churches generously offer services on both days, I reserve the right to be flexible on this matter.

On that note, I invite you to stop in tomorrow for Wednesday’s Wisdom.

Hi and welcome (again). I’m away from my usual place, spending time with my daughter in Orlando, but I’m sneaking a quick peek into the atheosphere. Can’t stay away.

Nothing new, but I will wish everyone (again) Happy Thanksgiving!

I look forward to reading your thoughts. And I’d also like to say welcome to Planet Humanism.
